Fireworks on The Fourth~Photo Story

Hey there!  It’s Molly!  And today, Agdollawesome Studios has a new photo story for you all!  On fourth of July, the dolls had an awesome fun filled day, so let’s take a look!

My sisters and I were gathered around, decked out in our red white and blue.  We talked and talked, sometimes five conversations going at a time, and we stuffed our mouths with every morsel of food there was,

There was pizza, pie, corn, hot dogs galore, lemonade, root beer, nachos, watermelon, garlic fries, cupcakes, ice cream, mac and cheese, and best of all, Grace’s perfect beans!

After most every body was done, I went up to my fireworks stand!  “Everybody!  Attention up here please!”  I called out

image“It’s going to get dark soon, and I’m going to put on a firework show!”  I said nervously.  To be honest, I was a bit scared that something would happen, but my Dad had almost always shown me how to set them up myself, and I was pretty good at it.  Murmurs of excitement passed through my sisters.

There were pop-its, sparklers, snakes, rockets, the small fireworks in the Star Powered packed, and there was the big opening show, The THUNDER BOMB!

So when it grew darker, I struck a match and carefully lit the fuse.

It blazed for a few moments…

Then…BOOM, it exploded into a flurry of sparks, and a barrage of colors.  We celebrate because we are free. And because of our liberty, I was no longer scared.

Oh say can you see,
By the dawn’s early light,
What so proudly we hailed,
At the twilight’s last gleaming?

Whose broad stripes and bright stars,
Through the perilous fight,
O’er the ramparts we watched,
Were so gallantly streaming.

And thy rocket’s red glare,
Thy bombs bursting in air,
Gave proof through thee night,
That our flag was still there.

Oh say does that star spangled banner yet wave,
O’er the land of the free, and the home of the brave.
