Hey everybody! A few days ago, I thought about how cool it would be for the dolls to carve their own pumpkins. And, then, of course, I got to wondering if YOU guys would like your dolls to have their own jack-o-lanterns, and I thought, Duh! Pumpkins with faces are cute!
Well, at least MINE is. You can make yours as scary as you want!
You will need:
-spoon for doing surgery on your pumpkin *evil laugh*
-knives for carving *be sure your parent is okay with you using knives*
-dry erase marker or sharpie for drawing face on
-bowl for guts *you might want to use a disposable one*
-damp washcloth to clean your hands
Also, this is NOT an indoor project, so the backyard is a good place for this. 😉
Start by carving off the top of your pumpkin to get inside. Since mini pumpkins have the same thickness as regular ones, stick the knife in once at a time all the way around to do this. You also need to be sure that your spoon can fit into the hole.
Save your pumpkin top.
PUMPKIN GUTS GALORE! Contrary to what you might think, mini pumpkins are CHALK FULL of guts!
Remove with your spoon, and if needed, your hands. This is the messy part.
Put the organs in your bowl. This is where the washcloth comes in handy.
For this next part, use a dry erase marker so you can erase it if you don’t like it. 😉
And draw your face! Now the pumpkin’s getting a face transplant too!
With your knives, carve out where you drew the lines…
*Useless discovery of the day* I found this random piece of curl in Kit’s hair!
Do you like Jack-O-lanterns?
What are you going to be for Halloween?
