Have you ever written a book/short story?

Yep!  I love to write, it’s one of my favorite things to do!  Writing is something that has always come naturally to me, and I thank God every day for it.

Whats your favorite food?

Uh, chocolate.  Duh.  But if you don’t mean desserts, sushi.

How I started my blog

Well, this is a long one…

I have loved AG since I was 6, and I got a MyTwinn right before I turned 8.  She’s in my closet though, I don’t use her anymore, her name was Samantha Jr.

Then, when I heard that Molly was retiring, I cried because she was my favorite.  So that Christmas, I asked for Molly, but I also loved Emily and Saige.  Boy was I surprised when I got Saige 6 days after Christmas on my B-day, and both Molly AND Emily on Christmas!  That’s 3 dollies in one week!  Then, I took all my $327 in savings and bought Kit with my Mom and the AG Store on March 4th.  I was inspired by a bunch of bloggers to start an AG blog, and the rest is history!

Advice for bloggers

MAKE A SCHEDULE!

Have fun with it, of course, but it really helps you to stay organized if you have a calendar or schedule of some sort.  Fir example, I write all my posts in my planner AND calendar AND to-do list.  I’m a perfectionist though. 😛

BE YOURSELF!

Do not try to compare yourself to other bloggers.  Your blog is unique, remember that and nobody likes to read 2 blogs that are the exact same from different people.  I tried to model myself after a blogger once, and it utterly failed because I started to enjoy blogging less.  So yeah, you and your dolls are awesome just the way they are!

I have this Target desk organizer that I painted and used as a bookshelf!

What is something that you don’t know how to do that you’d like to learn?

Crochet! But I’m taking it as an elective right now, so I’ll learn soon!

How do you come up with names for your dolls?

Most of them are historicals, but a lot of thought goes into the dollie’s last names and middle names!

 What made you decide to start a doll blog?

I wanted to share my American Girl crafts with the world, but it ended up being a whole lot more than that!
