DIY AG Doll Phones and Phone Cases

DIY

Hey guys!  I’m kind of sick today, but I really wanted to get this post out today, so here we are!

Today we are making:

DIY Doll iPhones and iPhone Cases!

I really thought this would be fun because I figured my dolls needed a phone, so I made my dolls ten phones with different cases!

The first step is the print out these phones.

I printed out ten, because that’s how many dolls I have, but you can do as many as you want.

These are the images I used.  Just copy and paste a bunch on a Google Doc or Word Page.

Then use a pencil to trace the cut out phones on cardboard.  I used a pizza box side.  XD  XD  XD

IMG_6492

You can use a glue stick to glue on only the front side on, because you won’t need the back side if you want a case.

And then after you glue on the paper, use some packaging tape to make both sides shiny.

Golden Flower Phone Case

IMG_6496

In my Easter Basket, I got a package of chocolate frogs, and I LOVED the pattern on it!  So I made it into a phone case.  You could probably do this this with any gold flower scrapbook paper.

I just glued the cardboard phone onto the BACK of the packaging…

And here we have it!

Watermelon Phone Case

IMG_6526

For this one you will need a cut cardboard phone, with no paper attached to it, so you don’t spill paint on the screen.  Take some red puffy paint, and paint a thick layer onto about 3/4 of the piece of cardboard.

IMG_6527

Then cover the rest with green.

IMG_6528

You can use an old gift card, a plastic knife, or in my case, the handle of a plastic fork to scrape it horizontally so that the paint is smoothed out like so.

IMG_6529

Next, use back puffy paint to paint on seeds!  Lets dry completely, and then add on the phone screen.

Mermaid phone case

IMG_6514

I printed out a mermaid scale print, and sized it down a bit.  Just google “mermaid scale print”

IMG_6515

With a glue stick, glue the back of the cardboard phone onto the back of the mermaid scales.

IMG_6516

Finally, put the packaging tape and screen on, and Voi-la!

Rainbow Phone Case

IMG_6523

With red, orange, yellow, green, and blue puffy paint, paint the case with a thick layer.

IMG_6524

Use the fork or the gift card or anything else easy to scrape, scrape the paint a bit vertically to make it smooth.  Let dry before adding the screen.

Mandala phone case

IMG_6536

Trace your case on printer paper.

IMG_6537

Then doodle a little mandala with a fine point sharpie on the case!

Printable Phone Case

IMG_6510

I cut and printed out a doll sized human phone case printable.

IMG_6512

Glue the case to the back of your chosen case.

IMG_6513

And here it is!

Fuzzy phone case

IMG_6530

Fold a pipe cleaner accordian style that will fit the case.

IMG_6531

IMG_6533

Cover the case with hot glue.

IMG_6534

And that’s it! It’d be best not to put packaging tape on the top, but do put it on the screen.

Washi Tape case

IMG_6538

All you need to do is cover the case with washi tape.

IMG_6518

You will need printer paper and watercolors.  Create an ombre on the paper.

Boom!

Gem Phone Case

IMG_6506

These Gem sheets are from the dollar store!  (Thanks Grandma!)

Stick then on the phone and trim the excess!

What did you think?  Will you make any of these cases?  If so, send me pictures at agdollawesome@gmail.com
