This blog has been a great, amazing place for me to share my writing and photography through dolls.

You have no idea how hard this post is to write.  I’ve been feeling so uninspired lately.

My photo stories aren’t fun to make anymore.  It’s not enjoyable to take photos of my dolls.  Posting on this blog has become a chore.

Dolls aren’t what they used to be for me anymore.  This blog has been great while it’s lasted.  But I can’t keep it up anymore.  I’ve been blogging for YOU, not for me.
So my friends, it is time for me to say it – I’m not going to be posting anymore on this blog.

I’m not leaving the blogosphere. I’m still gonna be around, reading, commenting, and liking your posts. And I’ll still be posting over on Redheadwithabook.

I still love my dolls.  I’ll still keep them, but I will be taking down my doll house.  I know I worked so hard on it for months, but it’s time for me to grow up and stop.

I’M SO SORRY

I’ll take this post down soon, I promise.  This was totally a dare.  I’m working on a collab with some people, and they dared me to write this, and I have to do it…

I AM NOT LEAVING THIS BLOG I WILL STILL POST NONE OF THE ABOVE WAS TRUE I PROMISE.

This was just a fun game of truth or dare,  Hope I didn’t scare you guys too much.

  6. The minute I opened this post, I was like “this is a joke.”
    And then when I read on I was like “you are killing me.”
    I read some more and I whispered “nooooooooooooooooooooo”
    And I read some more and I yelled “NO SAMANTHA YOU CAN’T DO THIS OR I SHALL MELT INTO A PUDDLE OF DESPAIR AND DIE.”
    And then I saw the dotted dividers…and I said “wait…”
    And then I breathed a sigh of relief and threw a book at the most cruel and mean person on the earth, who wrote this post (a.k.a. Samantha).
    Don’t worry, the book was paperback.

  8. I am so glad you weren’t serious!!! I neglect my blog because I have so much real world work right now and I yearn to get back to it. I was trying to think of something to say to get you to change your mind! Whew! You are so talented and creative, you’re an inspiration to me, old enough to be your graandmother! And I know yours must be so proud of you. ❤️❤️❤️

  15. I almost started crying. When I saw the asterisks, I had a glimmer of hope. I’m so glad you aren’t quitting, you would definitely be missed. Whoever dared you to do this is just plain cruel.

  19. OH MY GOSH YOU SCARED THE TAR OUT OF ME!!!!! I opened the page and said ” NOOOOOOO!!!!!” when you said the part about taking down your doll house I was all like “wait… she said in her dollhouse tour that she was totally in love with it.” and then I saw it was a joke and I started laughing because I couldn’t believe I fell for it! That was a mean joke… but it was kind of funny. P.S. that’s why I always take truth on truth or dare 😉

  21. I was soooooo close to travelling to wherever you live and kicking you in the rear personally! RRRGGGGG SAMANTHA WHY?????????????????? You scared me! But then I was going to offer to buy all of your dolls off of you. I’m cheap, aren’t I?
