“Greetings.”  My voice pierced the chilly autumn winds.

“I have come to speak to Andromeda,”

“That’s Queen Andromeda to you.”  The guard swiftly unsheathed his sword, “Who are you, and what business do you have here, in Equinox?”

I rolled my eyes, “I already told you by business here.  I would like to speak to Andromeda.”

“And your name?” I had no time for guards at this point.

“Well,”  I lifted up my hand, “If you must know,”

A surge of power came through my fingertips, “I am am Queen Astrid, ruler of the stolen civilization, Eclipses.”

My footsteps echoed through the gate front.  I picked up the guard’s sword, knowing it may be useful for my mission here.

I held it close to me, ready to defend myself at any moment.

I would not leave the Solstice Children without a queen.

And with that thought, I opened the gates to Equinox.

Hope’s POV

“Well if you say so.. I suppose we could go back,”  I finally surrendered to Collin’s pleas.  I could tell he was uncomfortable,taking in the damage done to his once perfect home.

And suddenly, an ear piercing scream echoed throughout the construction site.

Collin immediately blocked me from all danger.

“Erm.. excuse you, I can take care of myself.  You don’t have to defend me like this.”

“Oh.. um sorry about that… I just got startled,”

I spun around, “Over there Collin!”  I shrieked frantically, “There are voices over there!”

We sprinted towards the source of the noise, ready to protect ourselves ta any moment.

A boy about our age, and two girls stepped out of the shadows, looking scared out of their minds…

“Who are you?”  The boy lifted his hand, and with that subtle movement, I knew hee was one of us.

Iris’ POV

“You know what’s in the past in in the past,”

I had had enough with what Atticus was doing, I was over his moping about Eve.

I had gotten over it.  Yes, I would always remember that brave girl, but I would also move on.

Because that’s what my best friend would want.

So I told him that, “Eve would want you to move on,”

“It’s hard, ok?  You don’t know her like I did,”  the rain started to come down even harder, ” I almost died for this girl.  I have literally loved Eve Moonstreak for my entire life.  Do you know how that feels?  Do you know how it feels to lose the person you’ve dreamed about for your entire life?  Everything is different now, with her gone.  There’s something about losing people that changes you.  Maybe it’s the emptiness, Or maybe it’s just that in a single second, a person can leave your life forever.  Eve’s death took a toll on all of us.  Nothing has been the same since she died.  People like you try to work though it and try to forget, but it’s impossible to forget.  Whoever said that loss gets easier with time is a liar.   This isn’t easy.  People say that our dead our never dead to us unless we have forgotten them.”

“Well I intend to never forget that brave girl.”

“You don’t have to forget her.  You don’t ever have to forget her.  I will never forget her courageous soul.  But I have moved on.  And I think it’s time that I taught you how to move on too…”

With that remark, I swept him up, pulled closer….

And kissed him.

Eve’s POV

I took a deep breath.  Energy pulsed through my entire body, shaking my bones, lifting my heart.  I looked around.  I saw flowers and trees and birds were chirping.

But Eclypses was destroyed… I knew that… and I thought that I was destroyed with it.

But my eyes suddenly focused on a human being.

And it was someone I hadn’t seen in quite some time.

“Eve.  I think it’s about time you wake up, my darling.”

“Helena!”  I was tempted to embrace her, but I couldn’t move.  I panicked, “Am I in heaven?”  I whispered…

“No sweetie.  You are dead.  But I think it’s about time we fix that mistake.
