Christmas American Girl Doll House Tour!

Hey guys!  Merry Christmas!

I know I’ve been absent from this blog for the entire month of November, but now that Nanowrimo is over, and the holidays have begun, I’m back in full swing with a Doll house tour!  I’ve been decorating my American Girl doll house for Christmas and I decided to decorate my entire doll house in spirit of the season!

I did a doll house tour a few months ago which you can check out HERE , and I went into detail about everything in that one.  This one I’m only going to be describing the Christmas themed stuff.

Let’s go!

This is Hazel’s room, which is a copy of my own room, because she is my mini me!  So for her bedding, we have a tree pillow case that resembles my bedding.  Her clarinet and computer is on the bed, and on her shelf she has a snowman figurine!  Lights are string across her room too.

This is her desk, and inside is a camera, cat figurine, and a rolled up scarf.  Her wall art includes a reindeer poster Mya gave us, and assorted pieces that I printed out and taped up!  🙂

This is the book nook!  The shelf is the same, except we have a snow globe now.

On the Tv, I printed out a scene from Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer and put it inside!  I think it looks adorable.  Above that is a nutcracker ornament, which works great as a nutcracker for dolls!  There is also a cat ornament, and some dominoes.  I printed out all the wall art.

In the living room, we have a mini tree!  Below the mini tree are gift card holders that work perfectly as doll sized gifts.  The tree is decorated with tinsel and mini ornaments from the Target Dollar section.

It’s kind of hard to see, but we have a fireplace right next to it!  It is made of a cheerios box that I spray painted and drew bricks on, and the fire is from Our Generation.  On top is another mini nutcracker, a santa figure, and one of my favorite things in this entire tour!  It’s a mini nativity.  Really, it was a set of three mini ornaments of Baby Jesus, Joseph, and Mary.  But I cut off the strings and set them on a lace doily for a doll sized nativity!

This coffee table is made of a frame.  It cut the frame in half, and glued the glass part to the two halves for it!  On top is a bowl of eggnog (non alcoholic lol) , a mug of eggnog, and a few books.

Moving on to the kitchen, a pillowcase is being used as a table cloth, and I made the gingerbread house out of balsa wood, puffy paint, and craft foam!  We have more mugs, glitter, candy canes, and other assorted ginger bread making supplies that I thought just looked cute.  XD

The fridge is pretty much empty, that’s why I didn’t show it… 😛

But here is the main part of the kitchen.  The stove is one that my grandpa made, and I made the counter and cabinet part out of foam board.  I displayed some cookie cutters, milk, butter, utensils, relish, and mustard.

Moving on to the second part of my doll area, we have a set of bunkbeds that my Grandpa also made me!  The bottom bunk belongs to Valerie, and on top we have a red polka dot bedding set that I sewed a looooong time ago.  XD  Beside we have a tv stand with a book from AG, a little tree figurine, and a mini starbucks frappe!

On top is Paisley’s bed, and her bedding is actually a tucked in dishtowel!  😛  She has a pink purse hanging on the side, and assorted stuuffies along the headboard.

I take it back, the wall art above Paisley’s bunk is my favorite piece in the entire doll house!!

She is just the sweetest girl I’ve met, and she sent me this drawing of all the AG dolls I’ve ever owned!  It makes me smile so wide, I LOOOOVE IT!  I colored it too, and yes.  I know.  I messed up on Samantha’s face.  The ink in the marker I used was too runny.  😦

Alright, now it’s time for the winter wonderland side, as I call it!

I put a string of lights along this part, but it’s hard to see because it was really bright outside when I was shooting this when it was super bright outside.

Nora’s bed is and AG box with her normal bedding and a red pillow!

The stockings above are from Hobby Lobby.

My mom got me a mini wreath and I love hanging it above the doll house!  It’s real, so it smells great too!

And this is the other tree!  It’s pink, and  some might say it’s tacky.   But I say it’s festive.  The presents underneath are more soap boxes and gift card holders.  All the ornaments are from either Target or I’ve just had them…

There is a piece of pizza on top for… reasons. Reasons that you will find out about soon.  XD

Next to the tree is a little stand/drawer thing that I got from Goodwill for 3$, and on top is a mini tree, and Maryellen’s cookie set!

The coat rack is also from Goodwill, and it has some scarves handing from it.  The snowflake art is from an AG catalog, and the elf on the shelf poster is from it’s book.

The chair is from a yard sale, and my grandpa helped me paint it.  Below is a rug I wove.  Next to all that is Melody’s travel case and a pair of wintery boots.

And on the trundle is a bedding that I made as well as assorted red and Xmas-y figurines and ornaments! So cute!
