Paisley Awards Ceremony 2018

Hello and Welcome to the 2017 Paisley Awards!

I’m your host, Paisley Penelope Parker, and I am SO excited to be here today to present some of our fellow AG Bloggers with their prizes as they have caught the eye of the community with their talent.

I want to award every winner with this one of a kind PAISLEY TROPHY!

A purple and glittery award, just like my personality!

Every winner also gets a signed copy of the posters behind me!  They also receive a little note from Sam and I, as well as another special surprise.

In case you weren’t familiar, The Paisley Awards is a fair award program for doll bloggers! All doll bloggers have a shot of winning one of the 6 categories!

But before we get started, I wanted to make sure you all know that your blog is worth something, and that even if you didn’t get an award, you are still fabulous, and you should never stop doing what you love!  ❤ ❤

Our third category is Best Dressed!  Please give a big round of applause for Raven Sky McKay from The Doll Notebook!

“Um. Hello everyone. I… uh… I’m… I’m not used to giving speeches… but… here it goes. *deep breath* I’m sorry…….. I’m shaking right now because I’m facing one of my greatest fears: large crowds.

Can… can I have a glass of water? No? Oh… ok…

Ahem. Well… I am Raven Sky Mckay, and our blog won “Best Dressed AG Doll Family” in the Paisley Awards… Wow. Thank You! That’s pretty big. I am EXTREMELY grateful to all of you for voting for us! It… It really means a lot. We try and be creative with how we dress because truthfully, we don’t have the largest wardrobe ever (though still pretty sizable). Me and my family like to dress in everything from pretty, flowy dresses (my favorite) to sweatshirts and sunglasses (mostly worn by Kit, who likes to look “cool”). One of my favorite things is the Cinderella dress we just bought! Tenney (one of my sisters) will be wearing it in our Photo Series that has just started. It is true that we dress in historical and modern clothes because, well I guess… why not? It really brings a great variety to the way we dress. Being a modern doll myself, I still find myself preferring some… old-fashioned things. Umm… well, I hope you’ll check us out at Doll Notebook! We’d really love to have you! Thank you so much, again.

I think that is all…  I’m starting to feel a little faint… I probably really need that glass of water now… *nervous laugh* “

Greetings and salutations! I, Kitrina – representing Dolls N’ All, would like to express my deepest and sincerest gratitude to all of you who voted for us. You may speculate as much as you’d like but I can entirely and positively state that you have no idea how much this means to us at Dolls N’ All – especially Light4theLord (who, despite trying to achieve ‘professional’ status) squealed and did a rather unprofessional celebratory… something. I don’t think it classifies as ‘dance’ in the least bit. In addition, when Madi was told, she also joined Light4theLord in the unprofessional celebratory thing, since it was her birthday. She said it was one of her favorite gifts this year! You made our day, and we love you all SO much and are extremely grateful for all of the amazing support you have all given us! We really didn’t imagine ourselves even getting on the nomination post this year, but you all seem to like our blog a lot, which means even more to us! And then, when we moved past the nomination stage and made it to the top five – it was incredible! And this is the highest possible honor Dolls N’ All could ever receive, and for that… we are speechless! (and yet, somehow, I’ve been giving a speech. Hmmm…. logically unsound) For the sake of trying to not sound redundant, I will refrain from repeating myself even more so out of extreme excitement.
